ICON EV AT THE FORT LAUDERDALE BOAT SHOW
Ahoy Mates! The world’s most anticipated… most renowned… most iconic boat show’s 64th year was a resounding success! The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) was in port through October 29th, 2023, and ICON EV was a cornerstone at the event!
ICON EV was thrilled to partner with FLIBS for our second year, providing fun-filled and easy-access show shuttles, while continuing our mission to be the official golf cart brand of the marine industry.
Inspired by the entire team at Informa, we have ventured into the world of seafaring travel, and have been fully embraced by this close-knit community. We have had the opportunity to develop and nurture relationships across the seas, and have been immersed into the livelihood of yacht owners, boat owners, recreational vessels and vehicles, and overall island lifestyles!
THE WAVE OF THE FUTURE
Golf cart-centered communities are popping up like popcorn all over the world, and ICON EV is leading that trend. Fort Lauderdale Boat Show attendees agree that our ICON street legal golf carts have become one of the most fun modes of transportation at FLIBS, allowing them to easily breeze from one show location to another.
People from all corners of the globe gathered in Ft. Lauderdale to be the first to shop the latest vessels, gear, gadgets, and innovations in all aspects of maritime and leisure living. And of course… all offerings from our ICON EV family of brands.
Last year we debuted our ICON golf cart shuttles exclusively for VIPs between the Superyacht Village & Bahia Mar. Due to the shuttle’s overwhelming popularity, our friends at Fort Lauderdale Boat Show encouraged us to expand our footprint, and offer more transportation for ALL attendees.
We quickly jumped on board!
ACCESS TO FLIBS HAS NEVER BEEN SIMPLER.
This year, we had the opportunity to quadruple the number of shuttle carts, routes and drop off locations. Show attendees were able to say goodbye to traffic jams and parking problems, and jump on an ICON golf cart shuttle – not only for the ride of a lifetime, but for a faster, more exciting way to easily maneuver around traffic.
Our routes included stops between the Water Taxi, the Convention Center, Superyacht Village & Bahia Mar. Our shuttle drivers have even trademarked their own ICONIC “Golf Cart Wave” while zipping around the show.
“We are proud to be an integral part of the boat show experience, and our goal is to be the most fun transportation around the show,” said Roy Williams, founder of ICON EV.

Additionally, we were dispersed throughout this year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, at four spectacular locations.
Convention Center Booth #2001
For the second year in a row, we welcomed all show goers with a fabulous custom pink ICON i40 upon entry. Kids and parents alike loved posing for pics on this unique beauty.
The team at FLIBS also spoiled us with a large booth just inside the entrance – next to our longtime friends at Center Consoles Only.
Another EPIC surprise was Center Consoles Only proudly displaying their charcoal EPIC E60L that they are giving away!

We also showcased our popular line of two-seater to six-seater ICON golf carts, and even some custom creations that our friends from SD Custom Carts brought to display.
As usual, our ICONs created quite the buzz! These in particular were decked out with under glow lighting, SoundExtreme by EcoXGear sound systems, lithium batteries, and more.
Whether show goers were shopping for a golf cart or an E-Bike, we had all bases covered. Some loved the standard ICON i20, which is perfect for the course. Others preferred the lifted i40L or i60L to ride along with family and friends. Everyone praised the custom EPIC Cart that boasted all of the bells and whistles.
All in all, the feedback was tremendous on all of our vibrant colored creations. As usual, our team enjoyed every minute of meeting the wonderful attendees.
And of course, registering to win the signature Zac Brown Band golf cart giveaway was a huge draw. The contest was in full swing, and the anticipation grew daily to find out who the lucky winner would be!
Bahia Mar Booth #1002
Our booth at Bahia Mar showcased a beautiful charcoal EPIC E60L and ICON i40 in Caribbean Blue. And to keep you all on your toes, we even offered a sneak peek of our fabulous next giveaway.
The 2nd Annual Cruise Pink for a Cure will launch February 1st and commence on the last day of the Discover Miami International Boat Show. The feedback was stellar, and we’ve even had people reach out asking where they can buy one. After all, it is our signature pink ICON, built for a great cause… and of course, ICONS DRIVE ICONS!
Hall of Fame – North End of the Show
The Hall of Fame area at FLIBS is where you’ll find mega yachts and hard-to-find luxury vehicles. We were definitely in great company!
We had the pleasure of introducing our brand new line of heavy duty utility vehicles. This was our first time showcasing both ICON HD & ICON C-Series. Our marine industry friends, as well as restauranteurs, hotel aficionados and business owners, received this new offering extremely well.
Exhibitors and show-goers alike especially loved our ICON i80 8-passenger “people mover.” Creating solutions for business owners is something we really take great pride in.
ICON ECO was also a hit. This was our first time exhibiting our economy line of golf carts, which are perfect for commercial and personal use.

Imagine the worlds most renowned yacht builders, award winning amphibious aircraft, and luxury submersibles alongside ICON’s brand new line of custom golf cart creations. The red carpet set the perfect stage for everything over-the-top cool. Attendees fell in love with the idea of building their own one-of-a-kind dream golf cart!
