The most spectacular holiday event is coming to Apollo Beach this Saturday, December 3rd, 2022! Participate in a whole day of family fun at The 6th Annual Apollo Beach Holiday Golf Cart Parade brought to you by ICON® EV.
Join in the parade of more than 300 intricately decorated golf carts, or hang out as a spectator and partake in the excitement of Apollo Beach’s most anticipated event!
“This parade is near and dear to my family’s heart. We love uniting the Apollo Beach community with this annual event, and we are looking to put more smiles on children’s faces this year than ever before.” said ICON® EV founder and visionary Roy Williams.
While admission is free, ICON® EV is asking that everyone bring an unwrapped toy to help make this holiday a special one for kids in need. All toys go directly to The Sylvia Thomas Center & The Mary & Martha House.
Local businesses interested in participating, but in need of a golf cart, should reach out to ICON® EV immediately, as they are loaning a limited amount of golf carts to deck out for the parade!
Parade Activities
Festivities kick off at 11am as everyone comes together to decorate their carts and jump into the fun! The kids area is bigger than ever before with activity stations including face-painting, magician, balloon animals, ski-ball, letters to Santa, and more happening till 4pm.
Costume contests for kids, adults & the debut of the first annual pet competition will take place on the main stage between 4pm-5pm.
Do you have a cute 4-legged elf? A retriever reindeer? A chihuahua chocolate chip cookie? The best pet costumes are guaranteed to bring the ooohs and awwwws to their paws as they prance around the stage showing off their swagger!
Raffle prizes are being collected from generous donors, and will be given out every hour throughout the event, so make sure to follow ICON® EV’s Facebook event page by CLICKING HERE as each new giveaway is announced!
So far, prizes include a half-day of fishing from our friends at True Lies Fishing & Iron Rock Insurance, an Invisalign treatment or $2000 comprehensive treatment from Busciglio Smiles Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, EcoX Gear Soundbar, gift baskets, restaurant gift certificates, and so much more!
Plus, this year ICON® has teamed up with an artist friend to create a festive limited edition T-shirt!
Come Together for a Cause
At 5:30pm the golf cart parade will begin, showcasing the most incredible display of lights, laughter, music and costume-filled golf carts throughout the five-mile loop, filling the streets with jubilee. This is definitely a holiday spectacle that the entire family will not want to miss!
Upon arrival back to the Salty Shamrock, pictures with Santa and the kids will take place, making sure to capture special memories of the fun for years to come.
